Passion project: creating content for a dream client

I wanted to get more comfortable creating content for others and that is why I have decided to make some Instagram posts for an imaginary brand that focuses on sharing skincare and lifestyle tips.

I have decided on the brand's guidelines such as colour palette, fonts and values, central aesthetics and then I started with the content creation.

I want to share with you some of the tips and ideas on how to create content that I came up with during the process.

Delete the background from your product shot and add a background in your brand colours.

You can do that in either Canva or if you are more advanced in Adobe Photoshop. There are great tutorials on Youtube on how to do that.

I use this trick quite often as it is a great way to refresh your feed ✨ and make it look more professional as well.

You can never miss out with some cool quotes or sayings to break out the product or service-oriented feed.

Quotes are very relatable content and very sharable, which means more exposure for your profile.

Great quotes inspo for your business:

➭ Pinterest

➭ Google (search for best 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 quotes)

➭ Goodreads quotes

There are some great pages where you can find royalty-free photos for your small business if you don't have your own.

➭ Pixabay

I am regularly sharing my own photos on Unsplash as well. I love creating content and taking photos of stuff I have in my apartment, why would I keep all that on the phone if instead someone else could use it while starting their own business 😊

Recently, I have learnt how to create my own gradients like the one I have used as a background for this post and I enjoy them so much I started using them for most of my social media posts. 😊

It adds such a nice vibe to the photos, doesn't matter if you add a product on top, some quote or just leave it plain. I have noticed that they became a big trend 🔥 and a lot of people started using them for their posts as well.

This is how I organised 3 weeks of content for the imaginary skincare brand.

I don't know about you but I enjoyed this passion project so much I started thinking about opening a new Instagram account for skincare tips even though I have no idea about it! 😅

Hope you liked going through my process of creating content for this imaginary brand. If you have any questions or you are searching for someone to create content for your brand/Instagram account, let me know! 🥰

Follow me on Instagram for more @miskasage and let me know your experience with passion projects or if you are thinking about starting one.
